So yet another request, 'vote for me...'vote for me'. Remember that
Gray's Anatomy iconic comment...pick me, love me Derek! But let's get
real. Is our need for validation really going to be met through a vote?
If you're an artist out there campaigning for votes please stop for a moment.
You know people who love you and what your ministry is all about and appreciate
your music. So what is the need to rise to the top of some chart out
there? So many charts and for what? Do you really need that kind of
validation? If we understood our significance in Him...the votes of man
would be meaningless.
Ministry is all about giving...not expecting those who
believe in your ministry to stop what they're doing and cast a validation vote.
Instead of seeking a vote maybe consider reaching out to a friend the Lord lays
on your heart or sending an encouraging note to someone you know is struggling.
Let's get over us and get into them...now that's ministry that keeps on giving!
