Come join me for 3 minutes. I'll be chatting about ministry demand and if you're dancing with shame or grace. It's something to think about!

Shame is a powerful thing in our lives. And did you know the opposite
of shame is grace? I think it can be tough for artists in ministry to
understand the value of their life and the ministry gifts inside. Why do
I think this? Because so many artists struggle with talking to people
about their ministry. Each of us struggle because we really don't understand
our value in Christ. It seems like booking and promotion and marketing have
become 'bad' words to some artists. But how does anyone hear about you or
experience your ministry if you're ashamed to talk about it? I know.
Ouch! I think it comes down to a fear of being rejected. But nobody
can reject you. Sure some may not like what you do, how you do it or
whatever but they don't have the power to reject 'you'.
Scripture is clear: 'But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood,
a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of
him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.'
So let's be okay with declaring the message inside each of us. It's
powerful. It's life changing. Your testimony is true and nobody and
I mean nobody can disagree with it let alone reject you. So let's toughen
up, reach out, share your life, share your gifts and watch your world and the
people around you change. The world is crying out for honesty,
transparency and vulnerability.
I'm not ashamed of the gospel and I know you aren't either. So it's up
to you but I think it's time to silence the voice of the enemy and let the
gospel of grace inside you be heard! Come on…let’s hold hands and
dance! Something to think about…
